I’ve got several things in common with Outlaw Apex – A cat fan, and lover of one of the best original Netflix shows of all time (Stranger Things) – I can’t wait till the new season starts in October. That’s where the similarity almost stops, as despite my humble efforts I will never be as good at Rocket League or be as brave enough to face Dark Souls III as OutlawApex is right now. Read on for an inside view on this slick Xtremes member.

What did you last eat?
Nacho Cheese Doritos while answering these questions.

Share a little about yourself
I’m just a fluffy kid from the beautiful state of Kentucky who enjoys gaming. I do love it around here but there isn’t much to do. I have one fluffy cat named Leo. I always liked dogs more but i got stuck with him when my sis moved out and he became my little buddy. My life basically revolves around streaming. It’s what i love and i will continue to stream for as long as i can. As for TV shows i currently need some suggestions myself.. I’m running out of things to watch on Netflix! I am waiting for season 2 of Stranger Things!

Have you ever bought something online and instantly regretted it?
No regrets!

Can you remember the first game that you played?
When I was a kid we had Nintendo. I stole it from my sisters room because she never played it and wouldn’t let me in her room to enjoy it. I was hooked from my first time playing Mario. Then I finally got my first PlayStation and it was all over from there. Pretty sure it was at this moment my mom knew she created a video game addict.

You’re favorite game ever: What is it?
It’s so hard for me to say what my favorite game of all time is. I have played so many awesome games over the years. One of my favorites is the Soul Series. I never experienced Demon Souls though.. But the minute I jumped into The first “Dark Souls” I was hooked. The feeling you get when you finally defeat a challenging boss or area that you thought you couldn’t beat is amazing.. That is one of the things that kept me coming back to the series. I was really sad when I heard the news about “Dark Souls III” being the last game in the series. I get that they did not want to burn out the series but i just hope they keep producing awesome games! Rocket League is also up there for me. I am a very competitive person and if i had to pick a game to go pro in, it would have to be Rocket league.

Beam, What brought you to Beam?
I was streaming on Twitch at the time. I can’t remember exactly where I heard about beam but when I made my way onto the sight I found an awesome streamer by the name of “SkillzNthrillz” He told me about this amazing community and suggested that I try out the sight. At first I was skeptical. I did not like the idea of leaving the small viewer base I had built up over the year I had been streaming on twitch. He informed me that I could stream simultaneously to both beam and twitch with a sight called I dual streamed for a while. The start was a bit slow on beam but I remember being raided my Lagby around 10 followers and I felt like I was instantly sucked up into the community. I felt like I actually belonged here so I cut ties with twitch after migrating everyone who supported me over to beam.

What was it about the Xtremes team that inspired you to come across?
When I heard about what was going on with the Xtremes team I knew I had to apply. It all goes back to the way the community is on beam. I felt like I belonged. I also did not want beam to change and become toxic like other sights we all know about.. The thought of the team being that positive roll model for the community was great. I honestly needed something to fill a void in my life and I feel like the team took care of that. Everyone on the team is like family.

Have you ever had a bad experience while streaming?
I think everyone has experienced trolls at some point. Personally I don’t let them bother me. If you feed the troll and let them know they get to you it only gets worse. Even if you ban them they will just keep coming back. I understand that I am a streamer on the internet and there will always be internet trolls out there so why let it get to me? I just do what I need to do to handle it and move on.

It’s not all Rocket league!

If someone comes into your channel while you’re streaming, what makes them a great viewer?
A great viewer can range from anyone who lurks in the channel to show some support to someone who is there every single night talking to me and keeping chat active.. I love every single viewer. I would not be where I am without lurkers.. support is support and no matter how someone shows it they always make my day/stream so much better.

We all get streaming slumps, and quiet days – how do you deal with it?
We all get these slumps.. I know them to well. My advice is to keep your head up. I know it gets better. I used to let it get to me when I would go through a slump. Especially on twitch. I would get to the point where I just wouldn’t want to stream but I learned that if I kept my head up everything would be alright. Nowadays I can have 1 person in my chat that is enjoying the stream and it is a successful stream in my eyes. If I have 1 person show up or 1000 I am going to do my thing and have fun with who ever is there. I stream to have fun.. Not to get discouraged.

As a member of the Xtremes team, you are responsible for upholding our brand ethics and reputation, has this changed your attitude to the way you stream or affected you in any way?
I don’t feel as if I had to change anything. I always tried my best to be an upstanding member of the community. 😀

How would you like the Xtremes team to grow?
I just hope the team keeps going down the road its on as the site continues to grow.
